Meet Sean Paki: Makeup Lover, Beauty Expert & Lifestyle Vlogger

Looking for a beauty, skincare and fashion guru with a splash of hilarity? Look no further than the incredibly talented Sean Paki! đź’‹

With beauty tips for days and the cleanest transitions you might ever see, Sean’s content is a haven for finding out which products you should be using on your skin and why.

When he’s not at his daily Property Management gig, or hitting loop on a Mariah Carey tune, he can be found lathering on a face mask, going for a run, hitting the gym or showing off a killer outfit. Through his beauty knowledge and beyond, Sean is smashing gender stereotypes and serving looks while doing it 👏

What kind of content do you create and why do you enjoy it?

I create a bit of beauty content, a bit of fashion and a little bit of lifestyle. I love creating because I get to show both my masculine and feminine side - my strong and my soft side - all at the same time. It's about giving people permission to be themselves!

Where does your passion for makeup come from?

My passion for makeup came from wanting to express myself that I never thought I could as a kid. I really love makeup because it's such a creative outlet. It's so much fun. There's so many different techniques and it's something you'll learn every single day.

How would you describe your fashion sense?

I would describe my fashion sense as a bargain and thrifted chic. I absolutely love a statement piece, but I love when it's affordable too.

99% of the time you’ll just catch me in a hoodie anyway.

How important is self care to you? What fills your cup?

Self-care is absolutely everything to me. It's non-negotiable in my life. I've put so much work into this over the years, perfecting how I can get a good balance.

My cup is filled by a good run, magically. A good skincare routine, a two hour makeup look, cuddles with my dogs, chatting with my partner, catching up with family. All those little things fill my cup.

In the long run, when my cup is full, I'm at 100%.

How has focusing on health and fitness changed your life?

Focusing on health and fitness has been a life changer for me. Mentally, more than physically.

I may have lost 20kg, but in the long run I feel more disciplined, I feel clearer, I feel happier, and I feel like I can just challenge myself way more than I ever could.

What’s your biggest tip for people who are new to running?

My biggest tip for anyone that is new to running is to forget about the pace. Forget about the kilometres, forget about the time - it is just you versus you.

When I first started, I was going light-post to light-post, km to km, and now I'm hopefully trying to build myself up for a half marathon.

What advice do you have for people wanting to create content but are holding themselves back?

This is very cliche, but just post.

When I first started posting, it was only product photos because I hated showing my face. I didn't want to talk to camera but… here we are!

I have an amazing agency behind me, people that support me, and I've made so many great connections along the way that I'm grateful to be in this space.
