What kind of content do you create and why do you enjoy it?

I create lifestyle content which includes a bit of everything from food, travel, beauty, home renovations – just everyday life that I get to share with my amazing online community!

It's like a little scrapbook that I get to look back on, and I just absolutely adore creating and sharing that.

Congratulations on your pregnancy! What’s been the most exciting part so far? What are you looking forward to once the baby arrives?

The most exciting part about pregnancy so far has been looking forward to seeing our baby with our village!

We are so lucky to have our best friends and family surrounding us because this pregnancy was such a shock. I'm really excited to see the adventures that we get to go on with them and the love that is going to surround them in this new season and chapter of our lives.

Tell us about your new home! How are the renovations going? Where do you get your inspiration from?

My fiancé, Sam, and I bought our home here in Ōtautahi a few months ago. We've been renovating it, which we absolutely love and adore.

I think I just take inspiration from everyone that I know. Our friends have such beautiful design aspects in their own home, and also just people who I follow online.

I want our home to feel lived in and full of beautiful pieces, which I’ve either thrifted or they’ve been gifted to us by friends or family. It's a really slow process of design, but I'm really enjoying curating it carefully to the style that we want instead of jumping into things really quickly.

The way you capture nature in your content is incredible. What do you enjoy about travel, hiking and the outdoors?

I love hiking and being in the outdoors because it allows me to feel really grounded and know that there's something bigger than whatever might be going on in my own life. It just feels so freeing!

We are so lucky in Christchurch to have many mountains, rivers, trails, and the beach on our back door step.

I also love traveling to different places, both within New Zealand and overseas, because you get to experience different things and cultures. You realise that in Aotearoa, we are actually pretty spoiled for choice here.

You have so much going on! What helps you find balance and come back to yourself?

Sam and I do have quite a lot going on in our lives. We just bought a house, we're getting married and we found out that we were pregnant… all within eight months.

What helps me ground myself when things are a little bit hectic is the fact that we do have really, really close friends here in Christchurch and our family is amazing.

We see our friends on a weekly basis, so coming back to our village, knowing that we can just be around the people that know us really well, is really enjoyable. We absolutely adore having our home filled with the people that we love.

What does your dream life look like in 10 years?

My dream life and ten years is to have a beautiful, happy, healthy family. Hopefully three children would be ideal and on the cards for us if we're blessed to have that.

Also, I would love to have a lifestyle block in rural Canterbury and have an open door policy in our home, know that our village can come whenever they want and enjoy what we’ve created.

Knowing that I can look back and think, ‘this is the life that I dreamed of’ is really exciting!
